Difference from e-Fatura
e-Fatura circulates between organizations holding a tax stamp. It flows through GIB's infrastructure.
e-Arşiv is issued to consumers, small tradespeople, and those without a tax stamp. It's delivered as a PDF by email, but reporting goes back to GIB.
Both are subject to mandatory thresholds: companies with annual revenue of TRY 3M+ generally must use both.
Format and delivery
An e-Arşiv invoice is in UBL-TR XML format. While the customer receives a PDF visually, the XML version is reported to GIB in the background.
